Camping World is the RVers candy store. It won't rot your teeth, but on occasion it may burn your wallet.

Very few RV stores offer the variety or amount of merchandise or services--all under one roof that cw does. That costs money. And people love the "one stop" shopping. Sure you can find it for less somewhere else but you usually have to know exactly what you want because it probably won't be on a shelf. And there almost certainly won't be several different brands or types on the shelf. That's what you pay for at cw and for many that makes it worth it.

Can't really say I've ever had a bad CW experience. I'm always glad to see a store when we're out and about.

Now as far as their prices - the way I look at it is:

If ya wanna play - ya gotta pay!

When Camping World and Walmart are the only ones left, where will you go for variety, quality, or value?

IMHO, Walmart-maybe, I can't see Camping World as a survivor. Not with thier pricing.

It has been my experience, as well, that CW "inflates" their regular price to make their member's price look better. My local dealers can always beat the members price, PLUS, I am supporting my local economy and helping to assure I have a place to go for service.
