Hi All,

Well the reasone you can buy it for less at Camping World is just pure simple volume! In other words when you go to Winegard and price it you are getting one, but when Camping World goes to Winegard they are geting 100's ! This is the same reasone the laptop I bought at Costco was cheaper then if I built it myself from Compaq! Which was also the same reason it was cheaper to bye ear-muffs from LL Bean, then the company that makes them. 1 vz 1000 simple volume! Hope this helped !

I think the point of Jim's post was that the "regular" price at Camping World was $166+ MORE THAN Winegard's listed MSRP.

CW is trying to make you think you're getting a really good deal by discounting their regular price by $266+, when, in fact, it's only a $100 discount from Winegard's MSRP.

I'd bet that if you did some searching on the Internet, you might be able to find this same dish for less than CW's $1,399 "sale price."

No one pays the regular price at CW. Pay the $2 to join and save $$$s. Or even better patronize one of the sponsors of iRV2.

I have yet to find anything at CW that I can't buy for less locally here in KFalls. My purchase helps the local economy and if there is an issue with the product I have the benefit of good service. In other words, buy local when you can. Thats my story and I'm stickin to it!

You have to remember that you should never pay over 80% to 85% of the MSRP on anything! The MSRP is only a benchmark set by the manufacture.

i did find one at an rv dealer about 75 mi. from us for $1350.00 good enough! my point was the $1665.56 is not retail as stated in their cat. thats $166.56 over manufacturers msrp. i guess they just need to jack up their prices to make you think your getting a good deal! i do also belive in buying as local as you can! jim

Retail is whatever the store wants to charge, not always the MSRP, that is just what the manufacture suggest that they sell it for. Also market conditions control price, if there is no local competition, then they can get away with charging more. Same works for any store, Wal-Mart,Home Depot,Lowes, ect. Go online and shop at the same store in different areas and you can find big price differences.

I usually do research on prices. When I bought my movinview dome,CW was the same price as everyone else but no shipping cost,I live 40 miles south of CW in NH.If I need something now,CW is the closest with out waiting for ups,and they stock everything.
