In spring 2003, Paid C$196K (exchange rate was awful at the time) for our 37ft Fleetwood Southwind - two engine replacements and some interior done ourselves upgrades = residential fridge, TVs and large solar array added - still using today.

I love the floorpan - all but too small bathroom. Hubby wants DP and has done for a very very long time.

17K out the door for our 2011 Jayco X20E.

2021 will probably be our last year with the TT and my 2007 Tacoma

Mine was advertised on the dealer's website for $299,000 with a $492,000 MRSP in March 2020.
I really don’t know what I paid. My deal was a difference with my trade. (13 year old 40 ft 4 slide DP with 53,000 miles)
I was very happy and so was the dealer. Deal closed in April 2020. They sold my trade in May.
So I guess you can say it was $299,000. I don’t really know exactly, and I don’t care.
It was the amount of cash I needed to move up 13 years to a bigger and better RV, and it was just right.

I paid what I thought was a fair price. The only ones who need to know what that was was the seller and me.

After a fair trade-in deal and some dickering, we did great 3 years ago.

Happy trails.

Remember, on a new motorhome you can take 30-35% off the MSRP that means a $400,000 motor home can be bought for $260-$280,000.

A typical tow behind you can do a little better.

Especially when interest rates are low.
Low interest rates = higher asset values.
If you see interest rates going higher all asset values drop.

- MSRP = $76K
- Trade = 23K (2006 Glendale Titanium 28/33TS)

- Out of pocket = $23K plus tax and license for our '14 Montana which, to us, was a giveaway price

Sometimes I feel I just don't even fit in on here. Old Newmar in my avatar. Needed some TLC but I drove it home for under 4K.

Got a new 15 Discovery for 105 grand less than MSRP. And 6 years later still could get 150k for it especially now with covid pricing.

2007 Jayco 33DS, Chevy C5500 Kodiak with 8.1 and Allison tranny. Overall great condition.
Got it last February right before the excrement hit the rotary appliance. 15k miles. 43K cash money off a dealers lot. Bet he wished he'd kept it a couple more months, he'd have been able to jack the price up and people would have been throwing money at them to get it. Best R/V we've ever owned and we've had plenty!
