YouTube RV video recommendations?

Haven’t been camping in over a month. Cabin fever is high with the cold temps here in coastal North Carolina keeping us home bound for at least another couple of weeks. . Our usual round of RV Youtubers haven’t been posting much or they are boring us.

Who are you all currently watching?

Our current list;

RV’er TV
Happily Ever Hanks
Open Roading
Carolyn’s RV (wife likes, I’m not a fan)
Wild RV life
Creativity RV ( another wife fave)

Maybe you need a break from RVers on YouTube? Maybe try viewing something else that you find interesting. After all - all those channels get pretty repetitive. Maybe find some RV repair channels?

Big Truck Big RV is nice. Mostly informative and the producer doesn't plaster his face all over the screen and focus on himself like so many other (really bad/boring/repetitive) owners/broadcasters/influencers/egotiosts.

I like RVer TV for the same reason - not centered on the producer; centered and focused on the topic/material being shown.

The West is Big is interesting if you travel out that way. Another producer that focus on his topi rather than hog the camera.

My RV Works has lots of interesting and informative posts about how to repair RV appliances.

Explore Southwest is another travel channel focused on the West.

I've tried but I can't watch most RV videos. The people making them spend 95% of their time pointing the camera at themselves while yapping. Can't do it.

One of my favored channels is AVE. A guy who reviews and fools with tools. Never seen more of him than his hands. The extreme are some guys that build super detailed model cars. Not only do you see no more than their hands, they often never even speak.

So I'd be all about watching some kind of RV videos that are more into showing coaches, techniques, repairs, campgrounds, etc rather than themselves. I can compromise a bit, I understand folks often like to at least introduce themselves. Are there some out there that would appeal to me? I caught one rather made up one about a guy who bought an "abandoned" RV and what he went through to get it however many miles back home which was OK.

RV’ing is what my wife and I do together. So that is what we watch together
I also motorcycle tour &camp. Plus shooting,Kayaking and audio books. So I do experience a lot of different YouTube content, the majority being motorcycle related.

I agree with your comment about RV’er TV. Russ’s content is never about him or dramatized. Met him once while refueling in New Mexico, super nice guy.

You have a few there I’m not familiar with , I will check them out, Thanks.

Why not read a very interesting book instead. Boy, if I needed to watch a YouTube video for entertainment I couldn't do it.

My older son is in too YouTube also and tries to get me into and I simply tell him thanks but no thanks.

He is watching diesel truck shows and performance shows.

Just saying.

I'm going through RV travel withdrawals too and look to YouTube for some filler until spring. But if I see one more RV Mattress commercial, I will lose it!!!
