Bob, Last year at our HDT rally we had two reps from different tire companys give a one hour talk on everything and anything you wanted to know about tires. It was very interesting and killed a lot of myths. Just another idea. David

Well, back in the day, when we attended the old NCHA Campventions (noe FCRV), selected states would host a hospitality tent. This idea might work at our Nationals, especially if carefully planned as our attendance numbers are not that high.

FYI - the old NCHA National Campventions used to draw 10,000 rigs and over 40,000 people.

Bob,

Hey - incase you don't know what the "Secret" really is - it's that "Victoria" of Victoria's Secret is really a guy.

Islapp -

You've got a great thread going on here! Most of the time at rallies, the ladies interests are left by the way-side. We're not into "talking dirty" (oil, fuel, tires, weight distribution, etc etc etc) - that's men-folk stuff! There's plenty of things we'd be interested in....and has nothing to do with SECRETS!!!

I definitely like Bill and Donna's idea about a Convection Oven Seminar...that's definitely a good one. We don't even have to have a representative from the company, just someone who's experienced in the use of one to teach the rest of us HOW it dang thing works!!!

Retired & Happy's idea about an auction is a GREAT ONE! The Tx group did one last year and we raised over $300 in one night! We've never laughed so hard in all our lives and was really a great mixer to boot! Step this up to "national" level and I guarantee it would be a great fun raiser AND fund raiser!

Sandy

Steve,

I talked to Hakbar at the rally & while he likes Roxy he would like to see a dog show. Maybe some French Poodles. He has no interest in Victoria's secret.

HEY YOU TRAILER AND FIVER GUYS!!!!

What kind of vendors would you like to see at the rally? Brakes, suspensions, hitches?
Blue Ox will more than likely be there and have some products for your rigs, but what else.
I need names of companies and links if possible.
Mike

Do we have enough Newmars there to have one of their people come in and spend a few days like down at the Tampa RV show ?
Heck Bob should pull enough weight now to command thier appearance
Just a thought.

Mike-
Having been both TT/5-r owners, 2 vendors that I would've like to have had would've been hitches (B&W, DrawTite or Pullrite) & anything to do with pin suspension improvements (like TrailAir or Air Ride). Or, how 'bout Westhaver? As you know, we had both the ZAxis & FlashCube on our 5-r. Maybe Wes could show up?

Just my 2-cents worth.

L-

P.S. Thought about one more...what about a rep from Good Sam? Don't know if they'd come, but with our 20,000+ members (we did reach that number, right?), that's a lot of people looking for a discount on campground fees. "$$"
