This sounds great, Jim. Can't wait to hear more on the plans. I've never been to that area of the country before.

I can see the RV's circling already for the caravan from southeast Texas.

I've always wanted to see that little hole in the ground out there in Arizona . The rally might just be the opportunity to justify another trip out west to check it out.
We'll definitely keep it in mind and the week open as we begin to plan our 2010 travel plans.

Could have sworn that ir said June. July is more better.
It has been about 10 years since we made the trip to that big hole in the ground and looking forward to it again.
1218 miles for the northern route and 1297 for the southern route. Looks like 3 days each way or two hard days each way and about 110 gallons of diesel...each way.
Let's hope diesel does not head for the $5.00 per gallon mark.

Looking forward to this rally so I went to pencil the dates in on the calendar and saw I already have the Good Sam Louisville Rally penciled in for that week. Egad, I wanted to go to both of them!
Looks like I have a decision to make.

The first time I was there was about 8 years ago and we have been back several time over the years. When folks look at pictures they always say how great it looks, but I am here to tell you pictures don’t do it justice. The location I am talking about is in Arizona! The train trip takes you through some great country. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon you don’t know what you have been missing - AND if you have never attended a IRV2.Com rally you will have a great time! Come spend a week with some of the great folks you have only met on the internet - I promise we are more fun and a lot crazier in person then we are here.
We are making a change in what seems to be the normally scheduled dates for those on the East Coast so the kids will be out of school. Make sure you mark your calendars for July 18-24,2010. We hope you can make the trip.
Check it out here if you would like to see some other pictures! Please don't forget, they are not the same as the real thing.
More detailed information will be forth coming.

Excellant choice. We've got it penciled in. It will be cool, right?
