No real need, they have a great area with far pit and wood near the stage and eaten area. They even have a tree near by for those that need to see one.

( If you look at my photos for the Williams area there are pictures of the park.)

Try this link, there are several pictures for Williams, even on in the snow. I dont think we have to worry about that next week, but we can alway wish.

Do we need to call ahead to let them know we will probably be there Saturday?

Site assignments

Will the site assignments be posted on the forum? We're not sure yet if we will be there a day early or not. When the time gets closer, we would like to be able to check with the campground to see if our site will be available. Can I assume the campground will have the information if it isn't posted here?

The posting will be here as soon as the group that is coming in this week all get in so they know what sites will be empty before we get there. The only problem is if you are set for Sunday arrival and want to show up Saturday there is no guarantee your site will be empty. So I will have to scramble to get you a spot. The park owners and I will be working on this so the person on the phone my not know all the answers. If you are not sure of the date send me an e mail and I will give you my cell number so you can call me if you need to come in early please. This last week I may be a bit slower on replying to e mails but we won't leave home until Friday and I will be back on line later in the day. (3 hour trip for us) I am sorry I don't have a schedule but things are changing daily as I add stuff and am awaiting a few more responses and may have some surprises come Sunday at the dinner to announce.

See everyone in a week.

For our part I was just trying to avoid an extra one night layover close to Williams. We're already in the area (Monument Valley now, Page next week). If site availability for Saturday at the rally site won't be known for awhile, we will likely extend our stay at one of the above spots.

Can't quite figure out why the group coming in before us don't know their sites and that seems to be governing the placement of our group.

Dave and Jo Anne I will have a spot for you Saturday.

Like Cheri and I some people stay a day latter to rest before heading out so they will be there Saturday, they knew they had to be gone by Sunday.

See you soon

We aren't sure when we will be in,had thought we would be early, but the main air conditoner going out and having to locate somewhere that still has Carriers in stock has slowed us down several days. We are "suppose" to get new unit installed Monday in Little Rock,Ar. so still a long ways to go.

Jim,

Have you any information about site assignments? We will leave Dallas around Noon tomorrow and be in Williams between 6 and 8 PM Saturday.

If needed, our phone number (cell) is 214-683-6807.

I have them all listed, but will verify the sits and amps in the morning with the park and post them in the afternoon so you and the office will have them.
