The dominican made Cuban's I've had are pretty good, sadly, I don't remember the brand.

You tell 'em Lori. We need to talk about important things, like the train ride in North Carolina.
Leave it to our leader to lead us off course!!!!!!
And what can be done for Donna's birthday this year. She was really surprised last year!!!!

Frank and I rode on the train a few years ago and loved it. Trust me, we will come up with something for Donna's b-day. I don't think I will miss it this time.

Next step?
We made our campsite reservation now do we just wait to hear or get more details for the rally? Not that I'm worried about paying just wondering how the system works. This will be our first rally attendance.

KRose, So it begins!
The way this will work is that a Rally Registration page will soon be posted. The target date for this I believe is in January-February. Your (screen) name, city and state will be added to the list as attending.
You will then see a link that will take you to a page where you can pay for the rally fees. The rally fees will comprise your meals, entertainment any optional tours or events and it will also allow you to pay for extra persons or children.
The -> Rally Calendar <- is currently available and informally asks you to make an entry as to whether or not you are coming - third option being maybe. You can also write a few lines of text in the entry as you seem fit. Some folks will share their site number for example or when they expect to arrive. The calendar will be one source where names will be pulled from to begin compiling the Rally Registration page.
When you actually pay your rally fee, an eMail will be sent to you and the rally committee. Once received, your name will be entered on the registration page. The committee may also send you an separate email to welcome you or they may need additional information from you to complete the information for the rally buttons or ID cards.
The rally committee is still early into this process but those items that are of importance for registration will come up before too long so just keep checking back.

KRose, glad to hear you will be joining us in 2012. Frank and I attended our first rally this year and loved it. Met so many nice people, learned some things about RVing and just in general had a great time. Looking forward to meeting you in TN.

Krose, sorry, I have put in a request of no snow this year. Last year at this time, we had almost 12 inches of snow on the ground. Now, it is raining and 50 degrees.
The wife and I went to our first irv2 rally last year in Virginia. We had a lot of fun, and met a lot of nice people. I'm not a rally person, but I will have to say that I'm looking forward to going to Tennessee. I think Dickson and Tracy are going to put on a great rally. Well Tracy anyway!!!!
I hope the bridges get fixed around Louisville, Kentucky before next year, or we will have to find another way south.
Hang in there, it will be spring, soon. I hope anyway.
Regards,
