Dang it... I won't be able to attend, the wrong time of the month for me... Unfortunately, I can't be out of the office between the 8th thru the 20th of each month.

Petro lets do it. As soon as we get registered we can start planning. Not as long as of a drive this year that will be nice. Jim

Question Do we make our own reservations?

The Amana Colonies sounds like a wonderful place to visit. I had never heard of it before. Can't wait.

Tracy and I are very happy with this choice ..... This is where we had made initial contact, but life got in the way of us completing the task. You will all have a great time... We will not traveling much next year...To much going on in our new horsey world. Best wishes to the Wagon Masters. Trace and I will be happy to answer any questions they might have if they wish to contact us.

We wish all of the members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Thumbs up Amana Colonies history

I read the wikepedia link for the Amana Colonies and it is very good reading, makes me even more excited to see and relive a bit of this culture at the rally. I'm not particularly a history buff but it's very interesting to me and Jim. That on top of meeting and socializing with our iRV2 friends. Sounds like a great time. Count us in!! And thinking of extending to get more time to explore the area more thoroughly. Good choice!

We are new to this whole RV "thing" as we bought our first RV last July and now you are having a "Rally" only a hundred mile from our home in LeClaire, Iowa. (if you have never been to LeClaire, it should be a stop on your way to or back from the Rally) We will plan on coming to the Rally to see what happens at a Rally as we never been to one before now. I am assuming that there will be some sort of sign up forms to reserve a spot for our DSDP. Hoping to meet some new friends in the Amana's next year.

We have attended two FMCA/Safari/TREK rallies in Amana. It's very nice and, for those who don't have toads, there is a bike trail from the campground to the village.
