Driving Your RV Safely
This is a must seminar for everyone! You’ve been driving since you were 16. You have driven your RV for years. Basically, you feel you are a really good driver. Let’s talk about how safe you are as you drive your RV. This seminar covers bad driver habits and how to make sure we are safe driving our RV. This is highly recommended if you are going to have a “Rally” lesson before or after a rally.

Women – You CAN & Should Drive Your RV!
You worry, right? You have doubts about your ability to handle a large RV. This seminar points out why you can and should drive the RV and how to be safe behind the wheel. This seminar is VERY popular often with turnaway crowds.

Backing Up & Taking Corners
We can’t make you into an expert, but we can show you how to do it. Simple step-by-step methods showing you how to handle difficult situations.

Diesels vs Gas
Motorhomes vs Towables
What is a diesel and what makes it different from a gas engined RV or pickup? What are the advantages of a motorhome or towable?

Demonstration – Driving Your RV
Usually conducted in a large parking area with stands or a viewing area. We talk RV owners through how to negotiate corners, how to backup, and basic safe maneuvering. This is a real crowd pleaser!!

Driving an RV Off The Lot
It is frightening! The vehicle is tall, wide, long and weighs a lot. Let’s take this on in easy steps. Small steps will make you feel more comfortable, and importantly, SAFE!

Note:
Reservations for "Instructor Led Training" will be available during the seminar session. Learn new driving techniques using your motorhome. RV Driving School will be offering Mini-Lessons and they may be booked during or immediately after the Rally.

Welcome to Truck System Technologies

RV Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Seminar and System Sales By: Mike Benson, Truck Systems Technologies, Cumming, GA

We beat Doran and Pressure Pro in price, quality, options, and durability....don't pay more for less....Our system will notify you in the event of a nail puncture or other gradual pressure loss, sudden tire temperature increases, or in the event of a rapid deflation in the tractor or the trailer tires.

The system reports both temperature and psi simultaneously!! Ice, snow, rain, extreme heat....we can take it! Let the system monitor your tires and avoid the manual effort.

Attention professional drivers and fleet managers:
National Transportation Safety Board weighs in on tire pressure monitoring systems for commercial drivers and RV owners:

NTSB chairwoman Deborah Hersman responded to the question: "What has this trip taught you?" regarding a recent, well documented ride over the road with veteran UPS driver Clarence Jenkins.

Her response: "A few of the issues I've seen so far is safety-advanced collision warning systems, adaptive cruise control, lane departure systems, and tire pressure monitoring systems. The technology is currently on passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles are probably the ones that are the most in need of it."

One of our Rally Grand Prizes is a TST Model 507 - 6 Sensor System
The 507 starter kit comes with everything you see in the attached photo. It arrives ready to monitor SIX tires (You purchase additional sensors to monitor additional tires.). The system arrives with two installation wrenches, SIX SENSORS, a short antenna, a dashboard mounting bracket, a suction cup bracket, a cigarette charger, a hardwire kit, a detailed users manual, and the on board monitor display.

Veterans, 1st Responders & Supporters Luncheon

We have just added an "Optional Event" to the schedule which I call:

"Veteran's & 1st Responders Luncheon"

This event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2014 @ 11:30am. (departing at 11:00)

A "Limited Menu" is attached to this notice so please take a moment to check that out.

The Veteran's Cafe & Grill in Myrtle Beach is a Museum in Miniature which features thousands of military artifacts, pictures, news items, uniforms and other related hardware. The restaurant is privately owned and has served the Community for many years and has brought groups together of all types for charitable events and in direct support for veteran's activities. The Veteran's Cafe welcomes all patrons, there's no need to be a Veteran or 1st Responder.

If you have a facebook account you can see a little insight about what they do:
Veteran's Cafe & Grill

Special Attention --> "IMPORTANT"
There isn't any time to add this as an extra item to RegOnLine but if you want to attend this luncheon YOU MUST notify me 30 days prior to the event. The cutoff is going to be Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:59pm.

This is going to be a "Self-Pay" event however if you have not notified me in advance that you want to attend, there will not be enough food to feed everyone as additional food has to be ordered and additional staff has to be hired to accommodate our group.

If you want to attend this event please send me a Private Mail or eMail me stating the number of persons attending. If we get a small group like 40 or 50 people, that would exceed my expectations.

In closing I would like to add that IF you book a reservation for this event that extra food will have been ordered and people hired so please make every effort to attend. Everyone that I have brought to the Cafe has had nothing but good things to say about their lunch. I make it a practice to invite my friends to the cafe therefore you're all invited!

I am so excited to see the RV Driving School scheduled for the Rally. I have been telling Frank for the last two years I wanted to drive, but I have a real fear of this big monster.. I drove the Class C, so I'm hoping Beau can get me driving the Class A.
