2015

We were unable to make the '14 in Myrtle due to some health issues that we were not able to overcome. Hated to miss seeing old friends and new ones.
Was/has there been any discussion for the 2015 get-together? I know you guys had some rain. Sounds like the caterer did some poor planning as well.
Sometimes the rain and cool weather can be a blessing. We were in Pigeon Forge one rally with heat so bad you could bake bread. We would have loved a couple of evening showers there. Any time with friends is good times.
So, we are trying to get set up to go to where ever the '15 rally is going to happen and not fearing a little rain . Hope to see you all next fall.

After dinner Thursday, DriVer took a view of hands on how many would be interested in Branson or Nashville. More hands went up for Nashville. I think being to Branson 2x has been enough for attendees.

I'm guessing once DriVer recovers from his recent rally (yep, he had one after ours), he'll probably be posting for member input.

Lori these rally's are rough on Driver. Last time I saw him (Sunday following our rally) he was wearing full leg brace. Hated I never caught up with you at the rally, did meet some others that I've corresponded with! Was good fun!

Lori, If they choose Nashville, what facility would they typically utilize?

Did you have a facility in mind that would be able to accommodate 150-200 rigs and a hall big enough for everyone? If so, let me know. The campgrounds that we have researched so far aren't meeting our needs and they are outrageously priced!!!!

There is a huge one on the north end of Brieley (sp?) Parkway beside the river, but I cannot recall the name. There is a big KOA there also. Not a fan of KOA $$$, but the one I refer to is just south of there.

Don't know about facilities

As "newbies" don't have a clue, but I'm sure there will be some feedback. Thanks for the hard work.

That sounds like the Jellystone. Probably just as high priced as the KOA & I'd bet we couldn't get in unless off-season.

I just sent an inquiry to the Nashville Chamber of Commerce to see if they might help find a venue that can accommodate up to 200 rigs, seminar, vendor and meeting space. I'll let you know what, if anything, I get back.

Heard back from the Chamber. They've forwarded my inquiry to the Nashville visitors and convention office.

Stay tuned.
