Tony,

I believe the vendor list hasn’t been finalized yet.. But I know Mike has been keeping the Rally Itinerary current and posted a couple of updates… So you’ll want to check the itinerary, specifically the list of seminars…

The seminars and vendors just about mirror one another. It's not easy getting a lot of vendors and we only have a limited number that we can accommodate. We're still working on getting others but registration comes to a close shortly.

Question Hurricane dorian

Are there any concerns about Hurricane Dorian coming up the coast toward NC and the campground we are planning to have the rally?

I'd say it's too early to tell. I'm sure our Rally team is keeping in touch with OL & will update us if there's any change.

Let's keep our fingers crossed, and not just for our rally, but for all those in the storm's path.

About Ocean Lakes and Hurricane Dorian.

At this time the crew at OL has bagged all the pedestals and tied those off with large tie wraps. Governor McMaster has ordered a shore line community evacuation including all the hotels and campgrounds. When that happens, OL guests surrender their gate passes at the guardhouse and all of those reservations (remaining days) are refunded. At this time, Dorian is allegedly going to run a line quite a bit off shore however that could change.

Dorian is forecast to impact the Grand Strand on Thursday and by mid-day Friday rain chances are down to 20%. From what I know about OL, they will most likely be back in service no later than late Friday afternoon or Saturday.

In the past when severe beach erosion had occurred, dozens of dump trucks had continued to rotate in and bring sand to the beach and restore it toward being usable again. OL does not spare any expense toward restoring their operation.

Dorian is nothing to be concerned about that will impact the iRV2 Rally.

Thumbs up Dorian

Thanks for the update. Yes we need to keep all these people in our prayers.
We have a month before we’ll be there so there is time to recover power, beach sand and whatever by the time we roll in. Thanks everyone. ✝️🙏🙏✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I made reservations at the RV park but not sure if I signed up for the rally. Is there a phone number I can call to check on it?

Jesse,

The 2019 iRV2 IR Attendance List thread contains a list of members that have registered for the rally (signed up and paid rally fees). This is in alphabetical order by screen name. Click on the link below to check the list:

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f60/2019-...st-417255.html

FYI: The cut-off date for registering was Sept 6th, but was extended by two days to Sept 8th.

I’ll call you this morning, Tuesday, to discuss your options.

Hey guys, just as a heads up.

We are going to need a lot of help right after church services let out in the Recreation Hall on Sunday afternoon about noon time. I'll be hovering around the hall as soon as I see folks going back to their rigs.

We have to setup all the tables and chairs. In the past, rally attendees have graciously helped us so much and we turned this job around in no time at all We want to be ready no later than 4:30.

The registration team will setup their table and chairs 1st and get ready for check-in. As soon as you walk in the hall you will see the registration table, get your goody bags, T-Shirts, and sign up for events.

We are going to need "servers" to help dish out the food. Our caterer Daniel will be there Sunday afternoon to explain how it's done. Some meals are going to need 6 people while others may require 3 or less. It's really important that we help the caterer for our meals so we can move the line as quickly as possible.

Sunday - four please
Monday - four please
Tuesday am - two please
Tuesday pm - six please
Wednesday - two please
Thursday - six please

I believe the registration desk will have a sign-up sheet so please sign up.

Thank you for coming to the rally. I will be on site HH-21 at about 1pm on Saturday.
