The iRV2 Rally and Events Team is pleased to announce that the

2020 iRV2 International Rally

will be held in the Heart of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

at the

River Plantation RV Resort

located in Sevierville, Tennessee beginning on
Sunday, September 27, 2020 with the departure on Saturday, October 3, 2020.

The address of the Campground is – 1004 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862.

If you areunable to attend in an RV, River Plantation Camping Cabins offer a new kind of Camping Experience in Pigeon Forge/Sevierville, Each cabin offers Free Cable TV, Charcoal Grill, Heat and Air Conditioning. Linens are not furnished in our Camping Cabins, so make sure to pack your favorite set! Our Camping Cabins guests have full access to all Resort Amenities at River Plantation.

Our Large Camping Cabins are located by our Registration Office and Supply Store. Our smaller Camping Cabins are located by our Pool Area. While we love pets, and they are allowed at the RV Campsites,they are not allowed in our Camping Cabins.

Campsite reservations require a 1 night deposit and the balance on arrival.

The rally rate is $51.50 (+11.5% tax) per night.

Please note that we continue to feature a 2-fee policy;

1 - Campsite Reservations (Independently booking your site with River Plantation

2 - Rally Fees (Are the costs for rally support items, meals, entertainment and "optional" off-site shows, venues or group meals) (Electronic Registration (CVENT) will be available toward mid-April. Our team is developing the itinerary and meal plan for the rally at this time)

Having a dual fee policy allows you to pick the best site that is suited for your particular RV while giving you the flexibility to order optional rally features that interest you.

We encourage you to make your campground reservations today.

A friend of ours and I were looking at joining your Rally in the Smokey Mountains but I have a few questions. Do we need to be member of a certain club. We are members of the Texas Boomers club.

Are there specific campsites reserved or do we select any one available in the park?

You just have to be a member of iRV2, which you are.


There are a "block" of sites set aside for us. Please contact the park directly for assistance.

They can come with you. You'll just have to account for them to the campground with your campground registrations & your rally registrations (additional fees for additional people).

Better yet, as Ray stated, have them register their own logins here.

As a new member, please be patient with a couple of probably simple questions:
1) What happens at these events?
2) Your post states 125 sites are reserved, however the campground map shows few remaining. Are all 125 in a particular area of the park, or is it just what's left?

Hi. I can answer your questions.

1. You can look back through the main rally section to read posts on past events. They differ based on who hosted them. That'll give you an idea of what goes on.

2. The ones set aside for us are not part of the campground's online inventory. You can't look at that. You have to call the campground & tell them you are with the iRV2 Rally. We try to keep our group fairly close but our sites can be spread out across that entire park. They were the last 2x we attended an iRV2 Rally there.
