How many people from the mid-atlantic area are planning on going to the rally? Might be nice if we could all hook up and go together. Anybody in VA,NC,SC,TEN,MD, or where ever, let's try and get together and travel as a group to Texas!

cb5300 -
There's two signed up already to come - one from N. Carolina and another from Virginia!
Would love to see a caravan coming to Texas from the mid-Atlantic area! Keep on prompting and get signed up!
Sandy

Come on guys, I'm looking to leave Roanoke, VA on the 16th or 17th of July and just kind of putt on down to Texas for the rally. It's always a lot more fun in numbers, so lets start making those plans and let's get together for a fun time.

CB,
Perhaps they aren't looking in on the Rally forum too much, I'll put in a couple shortcuts to your post over in the Mid-Atlantic and Souteast Regional areas and maybe it'll get you some additional views.

Well, if we could hook up at the beginning and start out that would at least be a start.
Still looking for people to hook up with, it'd be nice to travel with 10-15 rigs to the rally.

Hey, fellow Roanoker. I live in Huddleston on the lake and work in Roanoke. Sorry, but we won't be going to the rally in Texas this year but will likely go to the 2009 rally in Elkhart. Perhaps we can make that run together. Hope to see you on the road.

As it looks now we will be going thru St Louis heading West out I-270/70 and not down I-81.
I'm not much fun to travel with.. 79 gal @ 13 MPG = fuel stops every 650 - 750 miles.. then sleep in the truck stop.. then to make up for the hustling we stop at an interesting place for two days or so..

Sorry I don't spend as much time on irv2 as I used to. So didn't see your thread until tonight June 9th. We will be visiting Vicksburg battlefield prior to Texas, are you planning on traveling on I-20? We wanted to stop last winter on our way to Arizona but hit Vicksburg on New Year's Day and they were closed. I was planning on a three week trip in July with Perrin in the middle. If you have your schedule planned let me know and maybe we can join up. On the way home I plan on visiting Crater Lake Diamond State Park in Arkansas and then I-40 home.
Nancy
