We, as I mentioned earlier are 22 A 1 & 2. Can I ask a big favor? Perfumes set off my allergies. Anyone sitting around us, I'd really appreciate it if you leave the perfume/aftershave/scented hand cream home that evening. I've had to leave a fair share of shows because of the overwhelming scent and I'd sure like to stay at this one (and not fall asleep..once I take my meds for the scents it's snooze time. Missed the Rockets, Lion King, Cirque du Soleil, etc. I was there, just not awake lol). Thank you so much.
And for my own info, Is the Rhyman theater the original Grand Ole Opry? I hope to set up a tour there. Why is that not still being used as the Grand Ole Opry? I know they still have shows and have them when we are there. Just curious.

The last regular performance of the Grand Ole Opry in the Ryman Theater was in March 1974. The new theater opened in Opryland at that time. There are still shows at the Ryman just not the Opry. I expect theater size figured into the move. A history of the Ryman can be found here.

I noticed that some more names have been added to our Opry night. Larry Gatlin was one added.

Dierks Bentley was just added!
I saw him exactly 10 years ago (2005) at the Opry shortly after he was inducted.
