Home again, home again..

Was great seeing everyone at Bethpage..

In the driveway by 2 P.M., traffic was ok.. even took a short section of I-95 (gridlocked the other way) after hearing an "all clear" traffic report on radio.

Phone has been ringing as family gets ready for the big Saturday wedding (niece, not us)..

See everyone in North Carolina..

We are home as well. About 10 hrs driving. Not a bad trip at all. Was going to Elkhart but the folks at BMW decided I needed to go to Florida instead. Goodbye Athens, hello Ft Myers.

Arrived home about 6:15. Decided to drive straight through when the GPS said we could be home before dark.
Had a wonderful time and look forward to next year.

We arrived home at about 10:00 am today (Sunday) after spending the night in a GS park in eastern Tennessee. The weather is cool and sunny and it is good to be home but I must say that we had a great time at the rally. It was good meeting everyone and am looking forward to next years rally in North Carolina. Again thanks to Mike and Colleen for a great time.

We will be home until mid November when we head to Florida for a couple of months.

Got home today (Sunday) after an eventful Saturday --- made it as far as West Point and had rear dump valve problems. Waited beside the road for roadside service --- was made enjoyable by Pat and Steve stopping and spending time with us by the side of the road. Got the problem fixed (after many $$$$$) but, got us back on the road and spent the night in Concord, NC. Drove on in today --- no further problems. Hope that everyone is having a safe drive to their homes and arrive as they planned. Will think of you Dickson and Tracy -- hope they get it fixed quickly for you.

We got lazy and took 3 days to get home. 1st night in Gettysburg, PA. 2nd night (Sunday) in Williamsport PA at my brother's house. Home Monday safe and sound.

Hope David K and Dixieray53's problems were minor and everything worked out for you.

Thanks to Mike and Colleen for a great rally. Our first and we had a great time. Even Bessie!

Dave & I got home today. We made stops in WV & it sure was cold - even saw snow. Of course, now that we're back home, it's sunny & should be near 80 by the end of the week!

We had a great time at Bethpage & I was happy to meet many of you who I've chatted with on the Forums. Thanks again to Mike & Colleen & all their helpers for making this Rally a memorable one.
