Drat and Blast!

Hrm.... maybe I should put out the digital equivalent of a tin can and rattle it here and there to see if I can get enough donations to cover the fuel costs .

Yes, we are! We have our air down (Southwest wasn't open yet for the return on Oct 1) and called in to rent the cottage starting the 24th, just waiting for a confirmation. We may also be bringing 2 others with us! Off to rent the rental car!

Hi Doris! I was just talking with Juliann at Bethpage.

Several "Vacation Rentals" are going to be available for our rally. There are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units all of which may be rented at a 10% discount when you mention that you are part of the iRV2 Group.

To date it looks like we have had at least 2 rental units that have been taken.

Yes, she told me that they hadn't thought about a discount for the cottages, but that for a rally, the campsites were usually 10% and she would extend that to the cottage.
I'm excited..I know you'll put on a great rally! Let me know when you know the cost for the 3 & 4th person, and email about the other stuff we talked about. Hopefully someone will lend us 4 chairs to use, since we can't carry them on the plane. Or we'll be visiting Walmart!

I think most of us carry at least 2 or more extra camp chairs. No worries, Doris, we'll have chairs for ya at the campfar.

Doris, For you, I can bring 2 additional chairs.

It looks like at this point you have 6 chairs to use!

If we get enough chairs, they could sit in different ones each night!

LOL..hey, with this amount of chairs, we can have some on our cabin deck as well, and people from our group will have a place to sit and chat. Looks like we are quite a ways from the actual rally will be..anyone have a golfcart we can borrow LOL? (Hey, it worked for the chairs!)
