1997 Trek question about switch by house battery
I acquired a 1997 Trek recently and discovered a switch located on the left side
of the entrance steps next to the 2 house batteries. What is it's function?

The switch is a battery disconnect. When storing the RV or parking for more than a few days not in use, the switch will reduce the drain on the house batteries.

1997 Trek question about switch by house battery
Are you aware of Trek Traks? A great forum dedicated to the Trek. A huge amount of tribal knowledge there and very helpful folks.
We had a 95 Trek for several years.

The switch is sometimes called the "Salesman's Switch" when a unit has everything turned off, then the salesman can activate the electrics when demonstrating to a customer.
