1rst D.P. and lovin it!

Greetings from Texas ; We recently purchased a 2001 Itasca Horizon with the 330hpCat and 6speed Allison trans ; The coach has 87K on the odometer ; but the previous owners were incredibly picky about how the unit was maintained and cared for. It has spent it's entire life thus far stored inside ; and we will continue that practice. We are fairly new to the motorhome world so any thoughts on our recent purchase would be greatly appreciated. And BTW I'm very handy with tools and doing my own repairs. thanks in advance.......Jeff-n-Cindy Texas Hill Country.

That's the way that I like to purchase something, from an owner who was "picky". Like yourself I then like to continue on with that practice and hopefully I will have something that should last me many years.
Enjoy your new MH! Life is short, have some fun!

Welcome jrow1010, good luck with your Horizon. IMHO I would recommend not letting the MH sit for extended amounts of time without starting and moving. Also run the generator with a load on it for 20-30 minutes periodically. Make sure you keep up on the maintenance and continue to keep good records. Hopefully you can have many uneventful miles with your new purchase.

Hi Jeff & Cindy! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you!

Congrats on the new MH! We got ours last year after pulling a 5er for 10 years. We love it!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
