2008 Safari Simba 35SBD

HELLO WORLD OF RV-ers. We have come a long ways from the first beat-up, old pickup camper to a slightly newer one, still old of course, then on to an even newer travel trailer, '97 21ft Prowler and now our newest adventure is in our very own Safari Simba 35SBD. 31,000 miles on the clock.
We could not be happier except for one small minor detail. Kids found it amusing to play with the electric visors. They both stopped working. Just need help locating and identifying the fuse which we're pretty sure is the case since they stopped working at the same time.

Hi, fellow Simba owner! Second time this weekend I am writing to someone with information that may help but again may not. First time was about the radio in our Safari not working when we purchased it. One of the many other things that didn’t work when we bought it was the power shades. Since neither one worked I assumed (always dangerous) it was a power feed and since I would have to take the shade down to test it I assumed wrong. Turned out both shades had burnt out motors. Bought two new ones from PPL and they have worked great. Hope this helps and good luck with your new to you coach!

Jeditraveler-

First off, welcome to iRV2!

Second, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

Re: Shades. Check fuse F9 on the Front Distribution Panel (FDP). The FDP is located inside a black plastic box that is itself inside the forward-most driver-side exterior storage compartment. Fuse F9 is a 5A fuse.

I have wiring diagrams for a 2009 Simba (gas) coach. I can send you a copy. You need to send me a private message that includes your e-mail address. I'll send the diagrams to that address. Don't post your e-mail address here; the spammers will get it. To send private message, click on my "handle" ("l1v3fr33ord1") on the yellow box to the left and then select "Send a private message to l1v3fr33ord1."
