2014 Jayco Precept or 2013 Bounder 35k?
Need Help....We live on Vancouver island. We are going to be living full time in a motorhome for 8 months then heading across the USA / Canada. Have narrowed our search down to these 2 units. Need to purchase by Feb 25. Any help making a decision would be appreciated.
thanks

Have Never seen a Jayco motor home in a class A... New Model? Looking at their site the Slides looked Small (not Wide) and the Outside Cabinets were Very Old style with separate swing up type doors. We have owned a Fleetwood Motorhome and were Very Happy with it. Did you have a Model of either in Mine?

Good luck with your search but try not to rush it.

Fleetwood Bounder 35k has more room than the Jayco Precept 31. Jayco has a better warranty and is approximately $12 k less. From what I have read the Fleetwood Bounder is a good unit. Really curious if any new Precept owners have some input as to quality, ride, etc. thanks

Good Luck with your search. If you are this close have you test driven/ test lived in both? This may be the determining factor. The Bounder would have more room for full-timing and should get you into most state parks. Ask yourself how you live today, do you need the extra space?
Jayco Precept is innovative and new. Bounder is tried and tested with a large owner base. Both have comparable units. Did you consider the comparables as well? The Precept for example tends to compete with the FR3/Pursuit/ACE type motorhome the Bounder the Sunstar/Daybreak type motorhome.

Howdy and welcome! I'm going to say, "get the Bounder!!" (But Jayco builds a quality RV, so choose the one that suits you best.) Good luck with your choice and have fun.

Not to knock the Jayco, I would buy the Bounder.

Bounder! No comparison. Not just my opinion but that of many many Bounder owners.. A know entity vs. a very new untested unit. Choice is yours? Best of luck!

I have never owned either one but Jayco in the past did not have much carrying capacity. I am sure the bounder would have more but that is something you should confirm.
