2nd New Member Check In . . . Oh, Well
The 2005 Jayco Greyhawk we were going to buy fell through, but we found a super nice 1995 Winnebago Brave 31RQ, 22,400 miles, for <$10K. Six new tires and we drove it from Greenville, SC to Alexandria, VA. The further we went, the smoother the engine got (well, especially after we added a can of Sea Foam). The fuel gauge didn't work (so we just got another 20 gallons of gas every 160 miles or so) and the automatic transmission started slipping every once in a while (so, it goes to the local "super" Ford dealership on Monday for a transmission check/service). Probably a rebuilt transmission; a few other minor fixes (the malfunctioning fuel gauge, a heat pump that keeps tripping a circuit breaker, add a Steer Safe) and we're gonna have some fun! Winnebago owner's forum, here we come!
