A couple of FL panhandlers here.

Hey Folks,
Charlotte and I got our second motorhome after being tied down for eight years and we are happy to get on the road again. However, we must limit our traveling to sunny days until we fix the wipers. Hope we can get some help here. Mr Admin. will you please put this post in the proper forum?
I hope no one has had this kind of problem but knows of someone who did and how they solved it. When we got our mh, a '96 Safari Trek (Chevy P30 chassis), the wipers were parked at the center of the windshield. On the way home it rained and the wipers worked fine but when I shut off the wipers they parked at the outer ends of the windshield. Since then they have began to stop closer to blocking our view of the highway. I've cleared away the cabinet back panels and there doesn't seem to be any slack or play in the linkage or wiper motor shaft. Anyone else had to deal with this? TIA
Kindest regards, Bruce

Bruce & Charlotte, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy this website and forums.
Have you tried taking the wiper arms off the shaft and reposition the stopped position of the blades? If the blade arms did not shift, then the motor controller timing mechanism would be the next suspect to look at. Good luck and keep us posted as to how it goes.
