A long time coming full circle.
Hello to all - I'm Terri, and my partner Edgar just purchased a 2000 National Tropical, Class A, 37ft. Growing up, my family were avid tent campers, then on to a travel trailer, then finally a 42ft Monaco Class A. I'm proud to say that I've traveled to 49 of 50 states (Hawaii still eludes me) However, that was many, many (many) years ago. My partner, Edgar has no camping experience but we both enjoy hobbies and events that involve travel and an active RV base.
We decided that we wanted to dip our toe into the waters and purchase a used RV, to make sure this was the right path for the both of us. After 6 months of internet searches, friend interviews, and many motorhome inquiries, we finally found what we hope will be the right RV for us. A 2000 National Tropical in pristine condition with 46,000miles. After a careful inspection and a new set of brakes, we will take delivery next week and we're looking forward to getting on the road. I have seen these forums come up in answer to some of my internet searches, and IRV2 was recommended by friends. I look forward to meeting and exchanging information with other enthusiasts.

Thank you for the welcome. We have a smooth collie and a new rough collie puppy. Before that, I brought in a Belgian Laekenois from Sweden that earned several titles herding sheep. We enjoy several dog sports, and my partner is an active fiddler in the bluegrass world. We're hoping to use the RV for events in both.

Cool! I'm partial to Australian cattledogs and am on my fourth :-)
This one has no titles but he was my farm dog covering sheep, goats, and poultry :-). My previous dog worked sheep and cattle but we didn't trial past OT/HT.
We've travelled to many events, farms/friends, and shows with RVs over the years. Best way to do it!

Love those cattle dogs! They have a toughness that can't be beat. I'm excited to try a short trip with the dogs, but need to add a few things before we head out - New crates to fit, temp/power alarm....I'm thinking my shopping list for the RV will exceed the cost of the RV soon!
