Hi all, this is Mark and Cathy, we are looking forward to our purchase, and are deciding on a 2008 Diplomat 40SKQ or Phaeton 40QTH. We have also looked at 2007 Horizon 40TD. I have looked at rankings, feedback, etc. Price plays a role here, but any other comments on your experience with those listed? Thanks for any insight.

MArk & Cathy, welcome to our website and forum. We are glad to have you join us. My choice of the three would be the Phaeton, but everybody's taste are differencet and that is why they make different floor plans. Good luck in your decesion and keep us posted.

Mark & Cathy,
At 2 years, 17,000 miles, I could not be happier (except for a couple little add-ons that I still want) with my Phaeton. For "Bang for Buck" it will be hard to beat.
Whichever you choose, may your roads be smooth and the wind at your back. Of course it would help if the price of diesel would come down a bit too.

I think I would go with the Diplomat....I came very close to buying a Dip back in March 07, but decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and bought a Dynasty instead. The new '09 Dips are very nice and I was surprise to how much Monaco has upgraded them.

We have a 2008 Diplomat 40SKQ and have had no problems what so ever. Might I add to check with DeMartini for pricing - we bought ours through his Indiana location and no body could come within 5k of their price - We drove out from Maryland twice to get the one we want - excellent service and sales help.
