Holy mackerel they sure didn't teach us that in English class back in 195.. well never mind. No wonder I can't understand my granddaughter.

Holy cow that's a lot of acronyms. Learned a lot from this post. I will have to refer back to this regularly until I become more familiar with the lingo. Hopefully they have already sunk in but I do suffer from CRS.

As I learned in the Navy, the purpose of acronyms = Maximum confusion with minimum letters.

Now if there was a way to make sure that any standard list of acronyms was adhered to. I have seen at least 4 (possibly 5) uses of FW:
1 - Fifth Wheel
2 - FleetWood
3 - Fresh Water
There were a few other uses of FW that I just couldn't figure out based on how it was being used.
There have been many times where an acronym was used, and possibly it was obvious to those of you who have more experience, but to a newbie like myself, it was completely unintelligible. In these instances a Google search was fruitless, let alone a search on these forums.
