AGENT86 checking in...

HELLO;
Everyone! Just signed up this morning. currently live in South Carolina. Purchased my first TT a few months ago. Nearly a year of researching, and scouring the internet & some local dealerships for a solid, used travel trailer, I purchased a 2006 RockWood RLT 8314SS from the original owners. Lightly used, it spent more time in their driveway than in a campground.

THE PLAN;
Was/is to full-time for a few years, until I find some real estate in Maine to settle on semi-permanent. Until I do, I'll stay in northern Maine for the Spring, Summer & fall, then head back to SC for the coldest part of the winter. That's the plan.

BRIEF DETOUR;
I had set up in a local RV campground, on the beautiful Sampit River. Due to some unforeseen, family related issues, I had to break camp, put my trailer into storage & won't be able to carry on with my original plans until May or June 2014

REVISIONS;
My original plan, was to purchase a 35 to 40 foot cabin cruiser, and live on board. However, as I researched more I soon found myself revising my original plan to purchase a cabin cruiser & instead go with a travel trailer. It made more sense, based on my plan to purchase some real estate in Maine. I lived in a smaller tt with a friend back in the mid 1980's for several months. I really enjoyed it. I've sold off/given away/donated/thrown out most of my possessions that would tie me down/take up space, etc.

SO LONG, "STUFF"!

My new motto is; Less Is More! It was difficult parting with some things, AKA "stuff". Most of the "stuff" I got rid of to adapt to the full-time life style was not really a necessity, or even that important, I soon discovered. VERY refreshing!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!;

I've rambled on enough...something I'm really good at...rambling on AGENT86....OUT!

Go often awry...but if I can obtain some real estate in Maine & get a shelter up around the Rockwood, so I won't freeze during the winters, I'll be more than content to not migrate back south every winter!
