Been traveling/RVing since 1979. First tents (ugh!), homebuilt conversion van, two popups, and first motorhome in 2003, after not doing much RVing for 15 years. Am on my second motorhome. Wife and I love to travel and see the sights, and love doing it (travelling and sightseeing, that is )in the motorhome. No other way to go.
Looking forward to sharing info and 'meeting' lots of you good folks on this neat forum.

007, thanks for the informative link. No, that's not why I use that 'handle' but have added that to my favorites.
Actually, I was having a discussion about sun visors on my old motorhome and jokingly I said I drove North and West in the morning, and South and East in the afternoon to avoid the sun from the drivers side. Hence, zigzag.

Thanks for the welcome.....yes, I always have drywall screws. Was confused by the request till I read your other posts. Nice work!
Was in your neck of the woods about a month ago. Stayed at Birmingham South cg in Pelham. Nice cg. Weather was beautiful. How you doing with the rain? Hope you got enough to fill up your beatiful lakes and rivers. Was over in Jacksonville and it looked really bad. Not a pretty site to see the bottoms of lakes.

Hi again!
NOW you tell me.... after I went and got drywall screws yesterday! But, thanks!
I lived at the other end of the Birmingham metro area... in the north suburbs but I stayed at the Pelham campground... oh, mebbe 50-60 nights spread across many summer weekends when my kids were little. We took a site close to the pool and little girls learned how to swim all day, eat yummy camp-dinners, then swim all evening!
You know, my kids would ask to go camp there? Even when we had a pool in our sub-division?
And you know what else? They ask, even now that they're grown, if we can go back and camp this summer!
Boy, are they in for a surprise when they realize the old pop-up slept 8 easily... and Dad's new trailer has only ONE bed!
I'm glad you had a sense of humor about the drywall screws!
