I have been reading threads and posts for some time now and they have been greatly helpful. I am a retired mechanic and engineer, with experience in big rigs.
Several years ago, I bought a Safari Trek, it remains a nice RV, but the "Magic bed" that lowers over the driver's seat is getting difficult to get up into.
This winter I bought a 2002 Safari Zanzibar with the Cat diesel and had to have it towed home from the auction. It took almost 3 days to get it put together so it would run and drive. Now I am sorting out the fine details of wiring errors and some minor body work. Now the Trek has to go,
I hope to be able to meet some of you out on the road later this year.
