We've camp with our 1989 Coleman Laramie popup, and "may" trade up to a 1999 Starcraft 'Travelstar 17ck hybrid soon. Hence, here I am amongst the brethren. Obviously, I like old campers, (am one, myself) and I like fixing and modifying them as needed. Our favorite camp sites are Lassen NP, and Sugarpine State Park at Tahoe. Our TV is a 2007 Honda Odyssey, with tow package. 'Glad to be with you. Any pros or cons on the Travelstar are welcome.

51f1 - Welcome! My husband was born and raised in the Sierra Nevadas & I was born in San Diego (father was in the Navy). In fact, my hubby was the first baby born in the Sierra Hospital which is now Sonora Community Hospital. We had the privilege of raising our two children in the mountains as well. Always Happy Memories! Happy & Safe Travels!

Welcome to the forum. My wife and i so enjoyed our popup (1994 coleman popup) back in the day. We had the king bed and the huskies had the queen.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

Continue to enjoy the adventure!
