Another newbie well old actually an oldbee

Hello
75 year old disabled vet,, looking to contunue filling our bucket list. Just bought a “94”Holiday Rambler 35 D. She’s got some bugs, seem to be cosmetics caused by neglect. We plan to leave mid august for my hometown of Pepperell,Massachusetts. Spend 4 weeks ,pay respects to a buddy that I lost in 68, then off to Michigan to see my closest friend, another brother from “68” in
Flint. Then back home. If we do ok on this trip then we plan to go toOregon to see my grandson. There are reasons we chose to do it in a RF health issues and comfort. Many years ago I had an old 1971 Winnebago. Work and time interrupted our camping. So when I drove the lil diesel pusher, I knew I was in love. On a tight budget so doing as much as I can, fixing, patching. But with 120,000 miles a good checking over and I feel it will be reliable. Meanwhile I will be living and studying on the Holiday Rambler forum.
So hello If you see a grumpy old man on the side of the road on a red mobility scooter. LOOK, an RV may be close by.
