Another Oklahoman
Tim here and glad to join this group. We have been RV'ing for about 25 years. We used a tent, pop up trailer.....never use this with two kids in diapers, Fifth wheel, then class C and back to fifth wheel since 2005 with our current trailer. Here is an experience I'd like to share and maybe help someone to avoid the same challenge. Last summer in Nebraska we had a blowout on the passenger side rear tire of the 2006 Wildcat 31QBH. The tread unraveled and grabbed all the wires located in that wheel well and wrapped everything around the axle. Was not a pretty picture. I Unravelled everything and spliced the important wires together so we could travel on to Wisconsin. Once there we traced wires and locations to reattach the monitor panel. I guess my suggestion would be to look and see if your wires are located in the wheel well and cover them with a protective plate or relocate them out of the wheel well. A bad day Rving is better than a good day sitting at home. We love to see this beautiful country and appreciate all of our fellow Rvers. Someday we hope to go full time. Have a great day and thanks for the opportunity to share!
