Arizona/California gal

Hi, all,

I'm new to RVing, and recently purchased a 1989 Fleetwood Jamboree. I'll be moving into it next week. I'll be trying out living in it, in my son's backyard, see how it goes. I'm in SoCal right now, plan to go to Flagstaff for the summer, where I am working on a getting place to park on private property. Then I plan to head for the Colorado River areas in winter, or to Tucson. I prefer to live near the river, since I kayak on it a lot.

I lived in Arizona 27 years, but grew up out here in San Diego area. It's too expensive out here. The RV parks are super expensive. They seem to run at least $500 a month plus electricity for a lot of them. I've found only a couple of them that are under $400.

I found this website when I googled "1994 Honda Accord towing." Lots of good links and suggestions on the thread discussing towing a Honda car.

You will no doubt get a lot of this on this site. It's a good place to come and hang out with other RVers that won't knock on your RV door. I lived in S.D. for 18 years going to school and afterwards. It's a nice area, but boy has it become crowded since I left there in '82. Good luck with all your plans.
