Aspiring RVers from the Northwoods (MN)
We are presently in the process of purchasing a 2001 Newmar Dutch Star (our first attempt at participating in the wonderous RV world) and will be looking for all sorts of input; i.e. where to go, exciting areas in the US for RVers, precautions etc.
Our handle, "billythedog" is in tribute to our faithful travel, hiking, leisure time friend Billy, a rescued dog who joined us 5+ years ago.
As newbies we look forward to all sorts of thoughts and ideas.
Thanks and have a great day!
Karen and Ron

Billythedog
Hello from a fellow rver from Minn. Welcome and sounds like a nice coach. We are new to this site also. Hinkley has a great RV Park if you are interested. They have a few sites that they keep open all year long. I am sure tempted to take off and see if I like winter camping. They are predicting 45 this weekend.
Again welcome, Tim

Hi Karen & Ron! Welcome to IRV2! We're really glad you joined us!
Congrats on the new rig! Just keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Congratulations
I'll put in a shameless plug for British Columbia, great places to see starting from the Rockies on in. I have come to the conclusion that every place has something to offer. Enjoy your new hobby. Probably a good idea to stay closer to home the first couple of journey's as you learn about your new rig. I know that it took about 3 trips before I got most of the bugs worked out of my unit which is only a couple of years older.

Welcome, Karen and Ron!
This is a friendly site so pitch right into the conversation. Don't leave Billy out. There's a forum for rving with pets, also, as you may have already noticed.
Information (and opinion) abounds.
