This post would normally be found in the "RV Camping Forums " near the bottom of the forums list, but we're trying to reach YOU NEWBIES (everyone invited) . Some newbies have gotten together here on IRV2 and planned a small, get to know you, rally at "Cape Camping & RV " in Cape Girardeau, MO, April 12,13,14 2013. When making reservations mention IRV2 group, we'll get a special rate and there is anothere group camping as well. You've made the purchase (your RV), now come join the fun! This will be the first trip in my Class A and I'm excited!

Ok to clear up some questions I've had. We are Welcomeing all IRV2 members, TT, 5ers, Class C, Class A, pup tents, back packers and anyone I've left out. This is your chance to meet some of the folks that are just like you. We all have spent the $ on equipment and we're ready to camp.

Hi, If all goes well we will be picking our new MH Sat. Is it to late to register for the get together in Missouri? If not, we plan on coming.

Congrats on the MH. Be sure to take notes, lots of notes, and have a second or third set of ears with you to be sure you hear what they tell you. Now to the rally, there should be plenty of room, the park has over 100 sites and 90 are pull thru. Weve had a few reserve sites, but was told to expect the biggest numbers to reserve at last minute. The # is 1-800-335-1178. Mention your with the IRV2 group to be placed in sites near us and the special price. This will be the first outing in our MH and DW and I are excited. Look forward to meeting you.

Good for you guys on the new coach!
We are also going to MO. and already made our reservations at the Cape RV Park! Talked to Betty and she was great!
Way to work it Tim!!
I am getting excited about our little Rally!
We should talk soon about how to handle a pot luck dinner and if there is anything else our new friends will be expecting. lol
Sooooo excited to get on the road I have been working on a coat of wax all the way around! It's a workout for sure!

When our group plans a Get Together we suggest that campers bring two bottles of wine from their area and cheese or other snacks of their choosing and we have a Wine and Cheese Extravaganza. We are not rowdy and some choose beer or non alcoholic drinks. It just gives all a chance to meet and mingle.

Not yet. Just picked up the MH today. In fact spending the night now in the dealers park. Will make the reservations in the morning. Today was rather hetic so didn't even think about the reservations until about 10 p.m. We are excited to make the trip & get to know every one. The wine & cheese sounds like a fun thing. We actually have a winery in our small North East Town so will bring that.

Congrats on the new coach Ginny! I know how you are feeling right now! It is very exciting and I think our Cape Rally will be a great way to get out there for a nice run and to ask and offer answers to questions!
I am also very excited to get on the road with our coach and meet everyone!

The wine and cheese is a great idea....Deb is already working on it this morning and I will make a run up to the Wisc. border for some cheeses.

Hey Ginny, That is great!!!
I was just talking to Sky-Boss and later Huntnski to work on some of the details.
Just so you know Deb and I are going to hit the road about 6pm on that Thursday night and head to Mount Vernon, IL for the night so, we will show up early at Cape on Friday morning. I have two other coaches doing the same stop at the Cracker Barrel with us. We will roll in together on Friday morning.

We are going to do a BBQ/Potluck on Saturday night at my coach so, you may want to think about your main item to grill for yourself on my grill and a dish to pass...Make it your specialty LOL.

We thought maybe a phone list for issues or problems any of us may have. so, here is my number Craig Hanson 847-875-2445 please feel free to save it and use it.

This is going to be a great time and we are very excited!!
