Smile Back at RV Camping

Hi,

We have not been out for over 10 years. I have a 1978 tent trailer that has seen better days. I decided that my younger kids, boy 10 and girl 5, need to experience the great outdoors and learn basic camping skills.

We just purchased a Primetime RV Crusader 295BHS, 36' w/bunkhouse. Pickup will be near the end of March.

Most trips will be to local, Utah campgrounds, with at least 1 longer road trip each year.

My wife has never been out in a trailer, just a few times in the pop-up. This will be a new experience for her.

For all you RV'rs that live in the Salt Lake City area, can you suggest a campground for a break-in/dry-run trip?

Have an awesome time RVing
Ned

You may get better suggestions, but when we used to pass through SLC enroute to CA, we stayed at the KOA in SLC. It was fine.

Hi Ned! Welcome to IRV2! We’re sure glad you joined the gang here!

Congrats on the new rig! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
