Been a long time gone!

Hi everybody. After being gone from the forum for a long, long time I decided to stop by and say hi.
Joined way back in 2001 ( wow how times fly). Still got the same RV. Travel in it has slowed due to diesel costs but we still use it. Still got the same wife. Still got the same ranch. Still working as a police chief. Need about four more years to retire. The dogs we started with have passed on, but we now have two one year old Weimaraner brothers to carry on their great tradition as being our kids. We have nicknamed them the "Wild Bohemians". Puppy phase is heck!

Oh, something new... at 52 years of age, a couple of years ago, I did finally join the military...Texas State Guard WO1, Communications J6. Bought a gooseneck horse trailer and am converting it to a radio trailer with sleeping quarters. Will be used for hurricane deployment and such running reach-back long range HF radio to HQ. I'll log in from time to time on the forum. Just wanted to let all you old timers know we are still around.
Robert
