Hmmm..... I can’t tell if I got a pat on the back or a kick in the shins. I think TJ has described my extended family and in-laws, some very helpful and others not so much. I like the diversity. Sometimes it is okay just to remain silent. All the best!

To the OP. Since this is your first post, You got this upset by reading someone else's post? Nothing was aimed at you? Seriously? Social media is not for you.

Seems odd you could be upset about advice that is given to someone else. Perhaps you will be just as helpful at that other forum. I can tell you for a fact there is no other forum as helpful or as frequently posted to as this one so your opinion of us is going to cause you to miss the boat.

Any forum is only as good as it's members.
Since you already admitted that you have received information here but never actually helped anybody, I don't understand why you feel the need to tell everyone that you're leaving.
Hopefully you can help people in your 'other forum' and be a useful member there.
And if you think this is bad, please don't join any RV Groups on Facebook.

Quite alright OB.
At least it wasn't a burned out circuit board!

I don't think that's the word you're looking for, but what the heck
FWIW, I'm a member of some motorcycle forums that'd make this one seem downright quaint. Even so, I've gotten some seriously good advice from them just like I have this forum.
I've even made some seriously close friends from the motorcycle forum and have ridden all over the country with some of them. Those friendships are worth the arrogance of the few who insist on causing problems.
Maybe, just maybe, it'd be worthwhile to accept that you'll need a thicker skin to deal with some and not give up on everyone else.

To the OP remember it takes all kinds of people to make a forum. We all have choices. I absolutely exercise my right to yell at and call my iPhone names (that’s what I post on).
Take what you need and leave the rest.
Some people lack skills.
Some people just ain’t quiet right.
It is what it is.
Perception is everything.

It's a shame we've had to remove posts that only prove what the OP was referencing. I'm disappointed in that unacceptable conduct.
If you don't have something nice or supportive to say, move on.

I admit I was a bit sarcastic trying to be funny but to be honest the op isn't very nice.
Comes here to say how not nice we were and yet her thread is still here.
Not sure why we should cater to someone that came here only to complain and will never be seen again by starting such a controversial thread.
Tough to be supportive with that
We shouldn't all be saying sorry we couldn't get along
