Bounder motorhome

My wife and I just bought a 34 ft, 3slide 2006 Bounder with a V10 and 49,000 miles. It's in the shop now. I bought it knowing the leveling system needed some work. We're also getting the awning changed to an automatic one. My wife and I are 73 years old, and have camped for years.

we stopped towing about 6 years ago. We have a 40ft, 3 slide 5th wheel set up semi permanent now. We haven't taken our
first trip in the MH yet, but plan a short trip as soon as we get it back. I bought the Bounder from the guy that bought it new. It has good Michellin tires, and exceptionally nice inside and out. it also has some great options. We gave $42,000 for it. Any thoughts yea it nay from other owners?

Congrats on the new ride!
I expect folks are going to want to know the year in order to yea or nay your purchase. But ultimately who cares, if you two are happy with it that's ALL that matters!

Welcome to iRV2 & congrats on your new-to-you Bounder. We loved ours (also a 2006)....you will too.

If it's still got the 4-door Norcold fridge, check to be sure the recall (high temp sensor) device has been installed. We also put an extra temp sensitive extinguisher in that outside compartment.

Check the date codes on the tires so you'll know exactly how old they are.

The 5-speed V10 was bullet-proof for us. Towed both a Jeep Liberty & our current CRV with ease. We averaged ~7mpg.

If you do any night-time driving, have the headlights upgraded to LED's. The OEM ones suck.

The only failures we ever had with ours was the cheap pot-metal awning arm locks would break all the time & we had the bedroom slide motor fail.

Wishing you many happy miles.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
