Brand new to RV-ing, Family of 6 (soon 7)
Hello everyone, we are brand new to RV-ing (and I mean we have literally no experience). I am here to learn and get advice from those who are more experienced. I have several questions but I will try to find the appropriate forums to post them. We are looking for the best gas model ~34' unit we can find in the range of $60-70,000. We need to tow a car, hopefully our suburban if that's not too big. We aren't looking to be traveling full time by any means but hopefully a couple of months out of the year.

Welcome mattman82 and congratulations on soon to be #7!!
Hope you have as a good time camping with your family as we have. My daughters still talk about some of the adventures we had while they were growing up. Now we take our granddaughter with us!
Ask anything, and we will all try to help

With a "soon to be seven family", weight will be a major issue. Make sure the RV you find has ample cargo carrying capacity (this included passenger). Also, a consideration will be the coaches GCWR (gross combined weight rating). This is the maximum the coach can weight with all cargo, passengers and the towed vehicle. A Suburban is a heavy vehicle to start with.
Good luck shopping, but keep the weights in mind.
