Bryan the new RV TT puller!

First off a large hello to all on this board, and get ready for a heap of questions from this guy.

My wife and I decided to purchase an old 34 foot (I havent actually measured it) 2014 Rockwood trailer to drag behind my 2015 f-350 srw pick-up truck to hang in while we build our forever/slow down home in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. We are both getting sick of minus 30 * Celsius winters.

Got a decent TT from a dealer, as it had sat on the yard brand new since probably 2015 so yes we are the first owners of this money pit, but we got a relatively good final cost, so what the heck? right?

Our tow from the dealership south was uneventful except we realized quite quickly that we would have to plan our fuel stops WAY better.

But aside from the fuel fiasco, the missed turn into Walmart and the reversing 500 feet to find a wide spot to make the 100 point turn-around while my frustrated wife performed traffic control duties (much to her dismay even though I offered to control traffic while she spun the trailer around)

We managed to get the TT into our building lot, in one piece, unhooked and relaxed!

Site planning, soil samples, wind measurements and sunshine recording have brought us into this fine year! We got poked in our arms at the governments request (fingers crossed that Bill Gates implanted a chip!)

Anyhoo, just wanted to say Hi from my wife and me and will reallly be testing the minds on this forum for solar, storage, and RV etiquette as we have picked our path and cannot wait to start down it!
