Buying our first TT today!!!
My husband and I are so excited. After looking at a few that we thought we wanted we happened upon a 2012 Coachmen Apex 235bhs yesterday and knew it was the one for us the moment we stepped inside. The best part is that it is priced thousands below any other we can find in the area or online because its the last '12 on the dealer lot and they need the room for new stock(we came home and sat on it overnight so as to not make an impulse decision).
We are having a Sway bar and braking package set up at the dealer before we drive it off the lot and will be towing with a '07 Toyota Tacoma 4L, V6 truck with factory towing package. A little nervous about the dry weight coming in at 4,200ish pounds but we will be packing light and will never haul more water than we need for a few flushes on the road. Eventually we will upgrade our truck.
We will be camping with our 16,8 and 2 year old daughters, our huge Boxer and our tiny rabbit. And by camping I mostly mean cross country travel and sight seeing by way of RV parks. Hubby's not the pitch-a-tent kind. LOL.
We have loads of questions and can't wait to get started asking away.

Congratulations, very exciting for you!
My 1st (and only) new RV was in late '60s. Brand new 13 ft Traveleze..$800!
