Checking in
We have rv'd for a few years. Recently purchased a 2001 National Marlin 35 footer. I got a few items with it but am really looking for the owner manuals. Not the 16" thick volumn I have on the engine but the how to's associated iwth things like the entertainment center and such.
Started of course with th '84 Buick with a car top carrier and when we had too many kids to wag along we went for a van. Got a '73 Chinook instead and nursed it along until about '04. Got a '96 class C Gulfstream 28 footer and nursed it along until now.
Looking forward to nursing tis one along. I just need to get Amazon to ship hydraulics to Alaska. Too many people think we are not part of the US so they won't ship. I will get past that.
Any push on where to look for user manuals would be great. I have already started nursing it because the water pump got cross wired but we did it.
Got the inverter replaced. Now I just have to figure out why when I plug the unit into my house power it blows the gfi in the house. Not the breaker. and me and electricity get along like Pat Garrett and Billy the kid. Freindly but deadly if crossed.

Welcome to iRV2.
Sorry I can't help with manuals , unless you post individual items , stereo type and model? Then maybe.
GFI's blowing on the house is fairly common, my first 3 , 5ers didn't but the last one did. If possible re-set the GFI with the RV plugged in, worked with last 5er and current coach. Or turn off the C/B in the house, plug in RV then turn circuit on.

Welcome to the gang and congrats on your new wheels! The Marlin should be a really nice MH. Note: This may not help you at all, but I had trouble plugging in my MH to household current and had to turn everything off in the RV. That would work about 50% of the time. Finally, one day I turned off the electric steps. That seems to have fixed the GFI tripping. Don't know why; it just works. After I get plugged in successfully for a few minutes, I can turn on a few low voltage type things like lights. (Early on I did not catch that I had the thermostat for AC turned on and that would trip it every time.) Hope this helps a little. Good luck and safe travels to ya! P.S. This does provide enough juice to run our refrigerator and a few minor items like fans & lights.

Welcome to the Forum and I am sure someone will be able to help with some of the manuals. Just be sure to give specifics. Best of luck.
