Checking In from South Carolina

Checking in from Aiken County, SC. I recently purchased a 2017 Winnebago Vista 29VE. We traded in a 33' TT for this Motorhome. My wife and I have made a couple of trips in Dec/Jan to Chattanooga, TN and down to Texas. We have logged over 2K miles so far. We sure enjoy the ease of setting up and breaking camp with the MH. A trip up the UP Michigan is in the works for Sep/Oct 2017 with plenty of local and regional trips until then. I'm looking forward to spring time to fully use the out door kitchen on this MH.

I'm a retired US Coast Guard Chief Boatswain Mate. I currently work as a river Tow boat Captain. I work a schedule of 28 days on the boat and 28 days off.

I've been reading this forum for a while. Lots of good info.

We were visiting family while in Chattanooga, so we stayed at the KOA on the north side near Cleveland as were only at the CG late at night. Nothing fancy, but nice. I hear the Raccoon mountain CG is nice although I have not been there. Try to visit the Chattanooga aquarium while in town. And walk the bridge across the Tennessee River. A good bit to do in the area. Enjoy!
