Just wanted to introduce my wife Bonnie and myself to the forum. We just purchased our second motor home and it is a dream come true for us. It is a 2004 Fleetwood 40' Providence 350 HP turbo diesel. We sold our 30 foot Holiday Rambler Admiral to upgrade as we are going full time in January. I recently retired and am waiting for Social Security to kick in. Our home is for sale and once it sells we are on our way to see the greatest country in the world. We have 40 acres in Northern Michigan and we have made a concrete pad with 50 amp electric. We punched our own well and have water to the motorhome. We also engineered our own septic system and have satellite TV!! So summer in Michigan and winters where it is warm. We will have a lot to learn about full timing but are looking forward to it. We also look forward to "talking" a lot on this forum.

Mackinaw City is a great little town and lots to do. Mackinaw Island is a bit touristy but fun the first time. If you have time you should cross the Mackinaw Bridge and tour Michigan's Upper Penninsula. It is incredible. Have fun.
