Cheryl and Bones

Thanks for allowing us to join. My wife and I will be purchasing a Montana 3820fk very soon. Possibly this weekend. We are still a couple of years from retiring and becoming full timers. But we are just so excited. We have looked at class A's, C's, TT's and decided on this 5th wheel. We both love the floor plan. I hope that we get good feedback from you fine folks out there in RV land. Its huge and we know that state parks limit the size but that is not a deal breaker for this model. We have a place to park it that's safe and we can play in it while we prepare for our future retirement. We are totally new to this and I drive a school bus now that is 38ft. I think the transition from bus to 5th wheel will be fairly easy, (I hope!!). Again thanks for the welcome and hopefully we will make some great friends.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you joined...
I suppose you will be looking for a big ol' truck if you don't already have one...

Thanks guys. Now we are working on a place to store it. And have a 30 amp. plug installed by the barn. Hope you can stop over soon to see dad and Arvee (its name). Lisa is coming on memorial day weekend to give us a break from dad. Maybe then?

Unless it is prohibitively more expensive I suggest you install a 50 amp service.
