Hi and Welcome, we were all new to RV's at one time. Never allow yourself to become distracted, never be too stuborn to ask for help, and you'll keep the fenders on your new rig for a long time.
Safe Travels

Hello and Welcome to IRV2. There is a little bit of a learning curve when you first start out, but you will get used to it in no time. Just take your time. Hope you and the family enjoy many adventures in your new rig. Safe travels.

Welcome to the forum. Glad Campingman was able to help you out... but you'll find that most RVers are more than willing to help you out. Skip gave some great advice.... don't be afraid to ask for help.
Nearly five years ago, I was in your shoes, except I was driving my brand new 40DP with a toad and about to go full time! Most of what I now know about this stuff I learned right here on this forum so I too owe a debt to the great membership.
I'm happy to say that after hitting 34 states and 40000 miles the only scratches on the coach are minor, and way up high... from working my way into tight spots in Oregon State Parks.
Best of luck....
Rick
