Seeing that you are not far from my In-Laws in Whately, Mass the best advice I can give you is jump into the RV and head south before it gets too cold. When you get south of Atlanta then you can slow down.

A lot of the items you will need can be purchased at Walmart, Lowe's or Home Depot at lower prices than RV dealers or Camping World.

We also sold our home, bought an RV, were totally overwhelmed at the walk-thru, called our Service Rep about 200 times the first few weeks. Once for not being able to light the oven, to find that my DH (chief cook) was holding the lighter to the wrong place - was never gonna light. If they don't want us to call them so much, maybe they could slow it down a little at the walk thru. Or - just ride with us for the first few times ! This site is a proverbial gold mine. You can learn stuff forever I think.

We are traveling full time, working our way along. Yes it's a little daunting, but so far so good. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Our home is the same every day - just the yard changes.
