Delaware checking in

New member from Delaware checking in. Been doing some surfing on the 'net and when a search results comes up I always see some great answers from this forum site.

Thought I'd register, get some info and give some suggestions (Only been RVing since Sept 2011 but have some stories to tell).

Our best friends and travel buddies are from Seaford. They travel in a Winnebago Via and just changed tow vehicles from a Saturn Vue to a Ford Focus.

As you see by our new avatar,we have moved up to a DP. A Tiffin Allegro RED 38 QRA to be exact.
I wanted something easier to drive and easier to handle so we could enjoy it more. No more white knuckling it!!
Bought it on Wednesday 9/26/12 and left for Point Sebago, Maine on Thursday the 27th. Gotta break 'em in right.

So far we love the upgrade.

Enjoyed Rehoboth, too, as a kid. Or as I remember it, being dragged to the beach with my mom...lol

I see you have a large toad, too. How does the Dutchman pull with that thing on the back?

We just figured out our mileage to 11 mpg WITH the toad!! Better than the Coachmen (V10) we had not pulling anything.

We just figured out our mileage to 7.9 mpg WITH the toad .
Fixed it after our return trip from Maine. Gotta blame the short between the calculator and the seat.
