Hi all! My husband and I have never had an RV before, so what do we start with? A diesel pusher. Nothing like breaking ourselves in gently, eh? So far we love it! She's an older model, but a good one. We just had a service done and a couple of things fixed (like the exhaust break) and she's ready to roll. I already have reservations made at a couple of spots here in CA for this summer! Now I get to try to beautify her on the outside. She needs a bit of a face lift, poor thing. Gel coat a bit chalky, and such. I look forward to it though. Will take before and after pictures for sure.
I look forward to chatting with you all in the future. This seems like a great forum!

Welcome to iRV2.
There's nothing wrong with starting out with a diesel pusher, after all, it only costs a little bit more to go first class.

Hi Laura...
Welcom, and you are not alone! My wife Nancy and I are also new to RVing and take delivery of our new 2007 Itasca Ellipse 40FD with a 400hp Cummins on Tuesday!
Lots to learn but this forum has been invaluable to us so far and we haven't even fired up our coach yet!
Rick
